British Heart Rhythm Society (formerly known as Heart Rhythm UK) is dedicated to improving all aspects of arrhythmia care and electrical device based therapies along with acting as a unifying focus for those professionals involved. The society was formed in 2005 by the amalgamation of the British Pacing and Electrophysiology Group (BPEG), the British Association of Arrhythmia Nurses (BANA) and the UK Interventional Electrophysiology Society (UKICES).
Work
I have been supporting the British Heart Rhythm Society since November 2019 on behalf of Tangled Web, doing charity consultancy, administration and helping with the charities activities. Working as a team we have been helping keep this charity in a strong position to be able to support its goals and members.
My main involvement has involved educating the Charity Trustees of their responsibilities and putting Policy into place to help support the organisation in the work that it achieves. I regularly consult with the Trustees and help them when they need a greater understanding of charity governance.
